Year 11 English - Mirror mirror

What does it mean to be a teenager in today's society? In this course, students will examine the struggles and triumphs of teenagers in the 21st Century. By the end of this course, students will have read and analysed a range of texts, including a novel. Students will be encouraged to think critically and to demonstrate their understanding in the form of a crafted literary essay. Students will be exposed to a range of text types and encouraged to explore connections in theme and / or characterisation across these texts.
