Course Description

In 11 Smashbook, students construct their own personal journals through repurposing out-of-date hardcover books to represent and reflect upon aspects of their own lives and the world around them. There is no formal assessment in this course although there is an objective to strengthen vocabulary and creative writing skills for confidence in the English curriculum. Students get a clear understanding of their own design style and are supported to manage their time well.

Resources Required

Usually an out-of-date library book (to repurpose) with the possibility of students purchasing a new blank writing or sketchbook.
