Course Description

Content:
This course gives students an insight into the world of digital technology, using industry standard software. Students are given the opportunity to select and develop one or two projects, based on personal interests and skill levels. Students will arrive at outcomes guided by a brief while following a design process or iterative methodology, as appropriate. Topics also introduced will be user experience design, big data, AI, and societal implications of technology.
Skills:
Students will gain expertise in their choice of the following: digital art and animation (Adobe software), website development (html,css,js), game development (Unity/Godot/HTML/JS), robotics and programming.
Students will learn about and apply project management techniques to manage their time and projects, working either individually or collaboratively.

Recommended Prior Learning
Students will need to have some experience with any ONE of the following: animating, digital art, Adobe apps, 3D modelling, game programming, coding.
