Year 13 Design and Visual Communication

This course builds upon knowledge from previous years. At this level, the course is individualised. Students are expected to work independently and manage time and resources effectively. Design thinking and visual communication skills will be assessed through two major projects – spatial or product, plus presentation.
Students will develop their ability to:
• Resolve a product and spatial design in response to a brief
• Develop and prepare a body of work for presentation purposes
• Develop design thinking skills, with a focus on structures and the look
• Integrate and apply visual communication and design skills
