Course Description
In this course students will carry out an investigation into consumer preferences of a primary product, research and explore the factors that impact the profitability of a primary product, explore how market forces affect supply and demand and analyse an environmental issue related to primary production such as freshwater and sustainable production. Students in this class will have the opportunity to participate in a tractor course and a gateway placement. There is a unit standard pathway available for students if this best suits their learning/pathway.
