Find out about the basic needs for infants, toddlers and young children. Examine the nutritional needs for each age group. Learn how to support the health and wellbeing of young children - newborn to school age. Included in this course will be first aid, workplace health and safety, basic hygiene practices and attachment theory.
Skills you can develop:
There is a 4 day work place experience at a local early childhood centre as part of this course.
