This course builds on the algebraic thinking learnt at Year 11 and introduces Calculus. Topics covered are Statistical Inference, Trigonometry, Algebra, Calculus and Probability.
Mathematics with Calculus is designed for those students who may wish to pursue Mathematics or subjects that use Mathematics at a tertiary level. It is strongly recommended for students who wish to study Mathematics with Calculus at Level 3 and also prepares students for Mathematics with Statistics and Probability or Mathematics and Statistics at Level 3.
Students are strongly recommended to have a Casio FX9750 Graphics Calculator.
