Two thirds of first year students at Auckland University study statistics. It is part of courses such as Science, Psychology and Commerce . This course is designed for those students who intend to study a Statistics course at Level 3. Topics covered will included Simulations, Statistical Experiments, Statistical Inference, Networks, Trigonometry and Probability.
Students who study this course will be able to study Mathematics with Statistics and Probability or Mathematics and Statistics at Level 3.
Students are strongly recommended to have a Casio FX (&%) Graphics Calculator.
