Te Reo Māori:
Students will have the opportunity to further develop their understanding of te reo māori through written and oral presentation work. They will develop a critical approach to research and reporting of various topics investigated at this year level. Students will also be expected to enhance their self efficiency, role modelling, self and group responsibility and leadership skills within the paradigm of traditional and contemporary Māori issues.
Skills:
• Develop their ability and confidence to converse in te reo māori.
• Develop further their ability to critically analyse topical issues
• Enhance their understanding of research analysis and the presentation of written and oral work
• Develop further their self confidence in the delivery of seminar presentation and written work
