Students will select this pathway through the art department because they love the juxtaposition of wet media and Digital Illustration. This subject will explore different hand drawn wet and dry media and digital painting techniques to complete a digital painting portfolio about a real or imagined world using artist models to develop compositions and visual elements. Students will explore painting and design artist models to communicate and extend their ideas in the style of Surrealism.
Students will need to choose this class in conjunction with their art teacher or HOD of Art to ensure they are not entered in clashing achievement standards.
