Writing, in its many guises, is used to manipulate, to make an impact, to evoke emotion, to persuade, and to entertain. In this course, students will learn to craft and re-craft different genres of writing to a publishable standard. Students will draw inspiration from a range of writing models, in order to become more powerful writers. By the end of this course, students will have created and crafted pieces for a writing portfolio. There will also be the opportunity to have writing published outside of the classroom.
