What does it mean to be a citizen of Aotearoa? In this course, students will explore how our national identity is portrayed through a range of genres of New Zealand literature, such as poetry, film, novel, and short stories. Students will further develop this idea through reflecting on their own identity, and how they fit into our nation's tapestry. Students will respond personally to a range of texts, and will have the opportunity to create their own visual text.
