Course Description

Students will continue to develop their Spanish communication skills and cultural knowledge by studying a range of issues such as:

• Global Issues/Disasters
• The Role of Women
• Myths and Legends
• Technology and Employment
• Cultural Practices

Students' skills in reading, writing, speaking and understanding Spanish will develop to a level where they can not only justify their own opinions but can critique and challenge the opinions of others.

These skills will be developed through a range of viewing, listening, speaking, reading and writing activities, both individual and collaborative.

Past students who have successfully completed this course have gone on to combine University Spanish with a variety of Majors such as Business Management and Marketing.
