Students will become familiar with a range of theatre elements and conventions. They will also practise improvisation skills through a series of exercises and activities.
In groups, students will then devise a performance based around a topic or situation selected from a range of options. There will be time provided for students to research their topics.
The devised performance and the process leading into it will be subject to Level 2 NCEA assessment, if requested. Any credits earned will be 'parked' for the following year, 2020
