Content: This is a topic-based course and will explore a topic as determined by the teacher. Students will be encouraged to make connections between different texts from a range of genres. This course allows for individualised programmes at Level 2 English. It is expected that each student will do a course that will give her the chance to gain 14-20 credits. There will be further credits available. The nature of this course is to suit the students’ learning needs.

Students of English develop skills cumulatively with increasing complexity and sophistication in:
• Reading and processing information and thinking critically
• Understanding, responding to and using oral, written and visual language in a range of contexts to communicate effectively
