Course Description

New Zealand is a digital nation. Digital technologies are transforming how we live; shaping our homes and our workplaces, changing the way that we interact with each other and live our everyday lives. Creative Digital Learning is intended to support young people to develop skills, confidence and interest in digital technologies and lead them to opportunities within the creative sectors. The course will include aspects of robotics, 3D modelling, gaming and digital literacy.
The course will be Inquiry focused and offers students the chance to develop their own interests and focus on a solution that enhances their skills, problem solving and creativity.

Contributions and Equipment

All students need: pens, pencils, ruler, eraser, glue stick, highlighters, coloured pencils, scissors for all classes

Specific requirements for this class are:
Take home component: $10 stationery Fee (optional)
Students also have the option to purchase more specialised materials, equipment or resources for their individual projects. (e.g: developing screens for printing vs hand cut, pine vs rimu) they will need to be mindful of this when working through the design process.
