Throughout this course students will acquire a toolkit of musical building blocks. They will be given the opportunity to work in smaller groups to focus on instrumental and musicianship skills. Students will perform a piece of music as part of a group, present a short research project and they will be introduced to music technology through creating short original musical sketches.

All students need: pens, pencils, ruler, eraser, glue stick, highlighters, coloured pencils, scissors for all classes
Specific requirements for this class are:
1 Headset Earphones (Recommended)
$20.00 - (optional) This covers maintenance and repairs of instruments and also includes the use of instruments outside of class-time ie lunchtimes, after school & take-home; students will be provided with sheet music that they can take home.
