Course Description

The primary industries is one of New Zealand's largest industries. In Level 2 primary industries students will get the opportunity to gain a first aid certificate, as well as carry out an extended practical investigation into growth and development. The will explore key concepts such as reproductive techniques used in commercial production, livestock behaviour in commercial production, the influence of management practices on growth and development of plants and livestock, the environmental impacts of locally produced primary products.
