Level 2 Primary Industries
Course Description
Primary industries is one of New Zealand's largest industries. In Level 2, students will explore a number of key concepts such as reproductive techniques used in commercial production, livestock behaviour in commercial production, the influence of management practices on growth and development of plants and livestock and the environmental impacts of locally produced primary products. Students will complete a practical long term scientific investigation into the growth and development of chickens.
