Course Description

This course aims to expose students to ways that Science is present and used in industries and careers in our local area. Students will learn that scientific knowledge is revised, refined and extended as new evidence arises, and that Science is a culturally and socially valuable knowledge system. They will learn how scientists use critical and creative thinking to develop questions and conclusions about the world around them.

Field trips (no cost) will occur throughout the year. All field trips will depart and arrive back at school during school hours.
