Level 2 Tourism

Course Description

In Level 2 students study tourism with a view to possible employment or further study in the industry when they leave school. They will learn who is a tourist, where they go and why.  They will also explore Tourism career pathways, work roles and industry expectations.

  • Impacts of Tourism on the Environment – learn about how tourism can have positive and negative impacts on our environment.

  • History of World Tourism and New Zealand Tourism – learn about how tourism has changed over time.
