Year 10 Outdoor Education
Course Description
In 10 Outdoor Education students will develop interpersonal skills and develop strategies for success through problem solving, communication and collaboration in outdoor activities. Students will explore and develop key practical skills in campcraft, tramping and rock climbing. Students will investigate safety management, our natural environment and kaitiakitanga.

Other Information:
Students who want to participate in the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award can register for the award and skills learned in Outdoor Education can contribute to Adventurous Journey Training.
Resources Required
Stationery, Laptop (BYOD), WGHS PE uniform.
Equipment and clothing lists for outdoor activities will be provided.
All specialist safety equipment will be provided for outdoor trips.
