Want to know how to improve your overall wellbeing to get the most out of life? Using the framework of Te Whare Tapa Wha and the Five Ways to Wellbeing actions, students will explore their own wellbeing and a range of strategies to enhance and strengthen all four dimensions.
You will learn how to identify strengths and weaknesses within your own wellbeing and learn practical strategies to enhance these areas. This course will incorporate all four dimensions of hauora; including mental health, personal identity, goal setting and resilience, for example. Students who are interested in their own wellbeing will enjoy this course.
This course will be a solid foundation to understanding the underlying concepts of Health Education in future years.
