Course Description

Students will have the opportunity to specialise in an area of digital technologies that interests them. The first part of the year will focus on identifying a project idea, generating design ideas, and researching user experience design. Students will then develop their project using evaluative processes of testing and improvement to reach a finished outcome.

Digital technologies : develop confidence and advanced skills using digital tools and processes.
Design process : generate ideas, develop, test, evaluate, improve.
Planning and managing project development.
User experience: understanding user requirements and responding to them.
Computer science (if selected): apply problem solving to code, test and debug programmes. Big data, networks.
