Course Description

This course is designed to provide a strong foundation of statistical knowledge and will develop the students understanding of probability and probability distributions.
The course is a continuation of the work done in Year 12 but also introduces the students to more advanced concepts within the topics. It is designed to prepare students to study Statistics at University. Topics include Statistical Inference, Bivariate Data, Linear Programming, Probability and Probability Distributions.
This course provides the opportunity for students to gain credits towards University Entrance. It is strongly recommended that students have a Casio FX9750 Graphics Calculator.
