Course Description

This course is an alternative pathway for students to gain their 10 Numeracy credits. It is a year long course and students will be assessed against the core generic Numeracy standards.  Students taking this course would have been working at Level 3 in Year 9 & 10 mathematics. The work will be based on topics which connect to real life applications such as Food, Sport and Holidays. 

This course is not intended for students who wish to continue with mathematics at Level 2 and 3. 

Check with your Mathematics teacher or a Careers Advisor for advice if you want to see if this course will suit your needs for a particular future pathway.
