Course Description
Psychology is the scientific study of the human mind and behaviour- helping us understand how we think, feel and act.
Topics that may be included:
Looking at the different perspectives in which we explain behaviour, these can include: Biological, cognitive, behavioural, humanistic and psychodynamic approaches.
Learning research skills and examining studies from which theories have been tested or developed. Developing our own research skills and conducting a psychological experiment to investigate an area of interest.
Looking at different psychological fields such as education,, social, organizational, health, sport, cultural, environmental and forensic psychology.
