Year 11 Creative Digital Technologies

Course Description

Students will design and develop two projects and will have some choice over what type of projects they do. Some students may want to focus on game art or animation, while others may want to focus on creating a game, website or programme. Collaboration, experimentation and trying out various technologies is encouraged.

Students can select 2-3 projects from: Animation Game art, character design Modelling in 3D / 3D printing Design and create a website Design and code a game Programming eg. Python guessing game, madlibs
Technology design process: explore options, develop ideas, test and evaluate ideas and outcomes.
Collaboration: working together will enable students to complete larger projects.
Creative thinking: use imagination to produce original ideas and outcomes.
Computational thinking: apply problem solving code, test and debug programmes.
