Careers

The careers department are actively involved in curriculum across the school.  Year 12 courses offer opportunities to study through intensives to gain credits towards NCEA Level 2, explore employment, training and experience the work place.  Much of the learning is done off site and in conjunction with industry organisations.  The learning is relevant, contextual and prepares students for future employment and learning.

You can also opt into Te Tai Tokerau Trade Academies.  Learning will be done one day a week at Northtec.  At school, one line will be given to catch up on work missed on that day.  Students selecting trade academies should look for
