Course Description

You will learn about:

  •  Leadership
  • Anatomy, biomechanics and exercise physiology
  • Sociology
  • Sporting skills

This is a largely practical course and applies learning of physical concepts to theoretical concepts

This course gives students a very good and deep understanding of many Physical Education concepts

This course would suit students who enjoy being active, learning through practical activities, learning science of movement through practical activities, working in groups, being self motivated

Running shoes are highly recommended for all practical lessons


Recommended Prior Learning

Satisfactory level of achievement and participation in any of the Year 11 Physical Education courses or Year 10 Physical Education (if you did not take a year 11 course).
